Help

1. Project details

Starting fresh, or picking up a project you started earlier.

Starting a new project

Give the project a name (this is just for your own reference - it appears on your saved estimates list and on the final quote, so something like a client's name or a site address usually works well) and a project type. That's all this step needs - room details come next.

Resuming with an edit code

Once you've registered an estimate (step 4), you get a short edit code. Enter it here at any time to reopen that exact estimate - every room, every material choice, and any pricing you'd added - and keep working on it. This is the proper way to save and return to a quote over days or weeks, and it works whether the estimate was originally started as a guest or with a full account.

Not the same as the "unfinished estimate" prompt

If you see a banner offering to restore an estimate you didn't finish, that's a different, simpler safety net - it only remembers what was in progress in that specific browser, before you ever reached an edit code. An edit code is the real, permanent way to save and return to an estimate; the browser-based prompt is just there to stop you losing recent work if you got interrupted before that point.

Already logged in?

If you have a full account and you're already signed in, you'll see your name at the top of the page along with links to your saved estimates and account settings. Starting a new project still works the same way - it'll just be saved under your account automatically once you register it, rather than needing a separate login step later.
